Stress depletes our energy, undermines our health and makes us more vulnerable to anxiety,
depression, chronic pain and disease. Studies have shown stress also increases the probability of developing
dementia and more rapid aging.
Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) offers natural, medically proven methods to heal the mind and body.
Developed by Jon Kabat-Zinn, this method is effective for the young and old, well or ill - anyone wanting to live a
healthier and saner life in today's world.
This one-day workshop offers practical ways to reduce stress, including the body scan, awareness meditation,
calming meditation and some light movement.
